ANDERS EKSTRÖM
The woodwallet is a comment to what we do with waste material and how we can make something pleasant with a material that was to be thrown away. Made from scrapwood, this wallet is made of european pine, with a leather strap and white pigmented oil. On the back it reads: This product is made from scrapwood. Handle with care. Manufactured and assembled in Sweden. Designed by Anders Ekström. Available at Flux Shop, Stockholm.

Free Universal Construction Kit
The Free Universal Construction Kit is a collection of nearly 80 adapter bricks that enable complete interoperability between ten popular children’s construction toys. By allowing any piece to mate with any other, the Kit encourages totally new forms of intercourse between otherwise closed systems – enabling radically hybrid Constructivist play and the creation of heretofore impossible designs. As with other grassroots interoperability remedies, the Free Universal Construction Kit implements proprietary protocols in order to provide a public service unmet, or unmeetable, by corporate interests.
